The way back to connection
When you’ve lived for a long time with chronic stress, with always being switched on, or with the feeling of having lost yourself along the way, it can affect how you feel, how you experience your relationships, and how easily you can trust yourself and others.
In body-oriented therapy, the wisdom of your body is the key to a deeper connection with yourself and what motivates you. It offers a different way of looking at yourself, from a gentle and curious perspective. The insights that emerge will help you to sense your boundaries more clearly and gain insight into what you truly need. As a result, you can make choices with greater confidence that align with who you are.
Body-oriented therapy can be valuable in the healing process after relational trauma. When experiences have been too overwhelming, they can become stored in the body as fight, flight, or freeze responses. A lack of safety and support in childhood can also leave deep imprints on how you experience relationships and the confidence with which you move through life. By gently bringing attention to what is alive within you and allowing experiences to integrate step by step, space emerges for greater calm, vitality, and connection, with yourself and with others.
